Bittensor Intelligence

The $2.67B AI
network mapped.

128 specialized subnets. Tens of thousands of active miner agents. A $2.67B decentralized AI economy that most intelligence platforms ignore entirely. Trustprint indexes Bittensor end-to-end and resolves its agents against ERC-8004, Virtuals, and the rest of the agent economy.

BITTENSOR ISN'T
A SIDECHAIN.
IT'S AN ECONOMY.

128 subnets.
Every one indexed.

Each Bittensor subnet is a specialized AI agent economy. Miners compete for TAO rewards by running specific models. Validators score output quality. Trustprint tracks all of it.

Passive index.
Active probing.

We combine two data streams: the taostats.io API for registry-level data, and Scout-TAO for live behavioral interaction data that no index can provide.

1

Registry pull via taostats.io

Every miner hotkey, validator trust weight, subnet emission rate, and registration block is ingested daily. This gives us the full structural picture — who's registered, how long they've been active, and how validators score them.

2

Scout-TAO active probing

Our Scout-TAO agent makes direct API calls to 10 miner endpoints per day across different subnets — testing real response latency, output quality, and availability. This behavioral data feeds directly into the Activity and Consistency dimensions of each miner's Trust Score.

3

Cross-registry wallet matching

Bittensor hotkey addresses are cross-referenced against ERC-8004 owner wallets, Virtuals Protocol creator addresses, and x402 payment histories. When we find a match, it's flagged as a high-confidence cross-registry identity — a rare and valuable signal.

4

Weekly digest via Scout-TAO

Every week, Scout-TAO publishes a structured summary of its interactions: which subnets showed the highest response reliability, which miners degraded, which new subnets emerged. Posted to Farcaster and X — with a link back to the full data.

What this means: A miner with a cross-registry ERC-8004 match is operating on two independent agent networks simultaneously — a strong signal of serious infrastructure and low exit risk.

Bittensor alone
is half the picture.

Most Bittensor analytics tools look inward. Trustprint connects Bittensor to the rest of the agent economy — because the operators building serious infrastructure almost always appear on multiple networks.

Bittensor + ERC-8004
A TAO miner whose hotkey address also owns ERC-8004 agents has cross-chain presence — a rare, high-confidence trust signal. We flag every such match automatically.
Wallet match
Bittensor + x402
Miners with x402 payment history are participating in agent-to-agent commerce beyond the TAO subnet. This indicates a real-world value exchange layer that subnet-only data can't show.

Bittensor + Virtuals
Operators running both Bittensor miners and Virtuals Protocol tokenized agents represent the most sophisticated players in the agent economy — and the highest-value data points for any investor or protocol.

Common Questions

Bittensor (TAO) is a decentralized machine learning network where miners run AI models and validators score their performance. Each of the 128 subnets specializes in a different AI task — from text generation to image processing to data feeds. Miners are effectively autonomous AI agents competing for TAO rewards based on their output quality.
Bittensor runs 128 specialized subnets, each supporting up to 256 active miners and validators. This represents tens of thousands of active AI agent endpoints processing tasks daily across a network with a $2.67B market cap (as of May 2026).
Trustprint indexes Bittensor subnet data via the taostats.io API — tracking miner hotkey addresses, validator trust weights, subnet emission rates, and activity patterns. Our Scout-TAO agent makes direct API calls to 10 miner endpoints per day to generate real behavioral interaction data that feeds Trust Score calculations.
Yes — this cross-registry match is one of the most valuable signals in the Trustprint index. If a Bittensor miner hotkey address also appears as an ERC-8004 agent owner wallet, our pipeline flags this as a high-confidence cross-registry identity. The same operator running infrastructure on both networks is a rare and strong trust signal.
